Judgement Criteria:


  1. Pronunciation and Clarity: Are the words pronounced correctly and clearly for the audience to understand?

  2. Expression and Emotion: Does the participant use appropriate tone, pitch, and emotion to convey the poem’s mood and message?

  3. Memorization: Is the poem recited accurately without reliance on notes or prompts?

  4. Presentation and Delivery: Is the recitation engaging, confident, and well-paced, capturing the audience’s attention?

  5. Understanding of Theme: Does the participant demonstrate a clear understanding of the poem’s meaning and theme?

  6. Voice Modulation: Is the voice used effectively with variations in pitch, volume, and emphasis to enhance the recitation?

  7. Originality (if self-written): If the poem is self-composed, is it creative, meaningful, and adheres to poetic structures or styles?

  8. Adherence to Time Limit: Does the participant complete the recitation within the prescribed time?

  9. Connection with the Audience: Does the participant establish a strong connection with the audience, making the recitation memorable?

  10. Answering Queries (if applicable): Can the participant explain the poem’s inspiration, meaning, or stylistic choices effectively if questioned? (Not applicable for upto UKG)

  11. Video Submission: You'll later be asked to upload your video via email so get it prepared.
