Judgment Criteria:


  1. Pronunciation and Clarity: Are the words pronounced correctly with proper clarity and intonation?

  2. Memorization: Is the participant able to recite the shloka accurately without any hesitation?

  3. Expression and Bhava: Does the recitation reflect the appropriate emotion and understanding of the shloka's meaning?

  4. Presentation: Is the recitation engaging and delivered with confidence?

  5. Adherence to Rules: Is the participant following the given format and guidelines, including the length and choice of shloka?

  6. Understanding of Meaning: Can the participant explain the meaning of the shloka and its context in Sanskrit or their native language?

  7. Rhythm and Melody: Does the recitation maintain the correct rhythm (chhand) and melodic tone, if applicable?

  8. Cultural Connection: Does the participant connect the shloka to its cultural or philosophical significance?

  9. Self-Creation (if applicable): If creating their own shloka, is it original and adheres to traditional Sanskrit rules?

  10. Answering Queries: Can the participant effectively answer questions about the shloka's meaning, origin, or significance? (Not applicable upto UKG)

  11. Video Submission: You'll later be asked to upload your video via email so get it prepared.
